To Provide quality higher education to women girls in rural area of Aurai. The college was established by the state government of Uttar Pradesh in 2001. The foundation stone was land by Minister of Higher Education. Mr. Om Prakash Singh in August 2001 at that time.

College is situated at the NH-2 between Allahabad & Varanasi. It I also situated between the Jaunpur and MirZapur district thus providing education to the women Girls of al four districts.

College offers the undergraduate programs in hindi, Sanskrit, Home Science, Sociology , History , political Science. Economics in At stream and botany. Zoology, Chemistry , Physics , Mathematics in Science Stream.

Recently in session 2016-17 , Post Graduate Programs has been started in Home Science , Sociology and Hindi.

Presently College is affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidhyapeeth Varanasi. The college is equipped with Modern educational amenities, with an open and spacious campus, which is spread over acre between clean and green environment.

About 15000 students are registered in the college which is an appreciable strength in rural women educational institute. College is running with its value based educational and evolving continuously.
